Registration Listing

2026 Spring Baseball

2026 Baseball Registration

Registration closes on Thursday February 19th OR when division reaches capacity (For ages 6-12)
Registration will default based on age. All players will play in their age divisions.
Assessments: Assessments will be held Saturday, February 21st. Click on the baseball tab for more information.

Schedule - Practices will begin the week of February 23rd. Practices will be conducted once during the week (M-TH) and on Saturdays. Opening weekend is Saturday March 14th and the season will run through May, ending prior to Memorial Day weekend (weather permitting).

Challenge Baseball: The Challenge teams practice on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons when not playing in a tournament. More information regarding the Challenge tryouts will be sent in the coming weeks. If you have questions, please contact Mike Brown [email protected]

Welcome to MARA Major League Baseball

Majors Baseball is the complete baseball experience with runners leading, pitchers picking off runners, and a larger 50/70 field - 50' pitcher mound and 70' bases.

Spring 2026 Important Dates:

Registration Opens: Thursday, January 1

Assessments: Saturday, February 21

Draft: Sunday, February 22

Practices Begin: Monday, February 23

Opening Day: Saturday, March 14

**Following the draft, you will receive an email from your player's coach with team placement and initial practice schedule.

MARA Refund Policy

Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association (MARA) incurs various league, medical, security, uniform, insurance, and administrative fees which are not refundable to the organization. Therefore, if you withdraw your player fifteen (15) days or more before the stated registration period closes for a sport/program, we will provide a refund of the total registration fee, LESS A $50 PROCESSING FEE. Otherwise, we do not provide any refunds for a player withdrawing from a program.
