2026 Fall Softball Registration

Get ready — Fall Ball is here and we can’t wait to hit the fields with YOU! Whether you’re returning for another season or joining us for the first time, MARA Rec Softball is the perfect place to build skills, make new friends, and have a ton of fun on the diamond.

Mark your calendars with these important dates:

Monday, June 15th: Registration opens for all divisions

Saturday, August 1st: Assessments for Minors (8u), Majors (10u), and MSU (13u) (Time and Format TBD).

Sunday, August 2nd: Team formations begin.

Wednesday, August 5th: Practices begin for 6u,8u and 18u.

Thursday, August 6th: Practices start for 10u and 13u.

Sunday, August 16th: Challenge Team tryouts.

Games are set to begin Tuesday September 8th.

Refund Policy: Matthews Athletic and Recreation Association (MARA) incurs various league, medical, security, uniform, insurance, and administrative fees, which are not refundable to the

organization. Therefore, if you withdraw your player fifteen (15) days or more before the stated registration period closes for a sport, we will provide a refund of the total registration fee, LESS A $50 Admin Fee. Otherwise, we do not provide any refunds for a player withdrawing from the program.

2026 Next Generation Softball Camp

Camps will be held at 1200 South Trade Street in Matthews, NC at Arthur Goodman Park (MARA)

Get ready for an action-packed summer of softball! MLB Pro Coach Noah Hall returns to MARA to lead the Next Generation Softball Camps, designed for players ages 5-14. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to refine their skills, our camp provides top-notch instruction in a fun and encouraging environment.

Camp Highlights:

Tailored Instruction: Each camper will receive training appropriate to their skill level, ensuring development and confidence-building.

Skill Assessments: Players will be evaluated on Day 1 to create balanced groups for focused instruction.

Expert Coaching & Feedback: Coach Noah Hall will offer daily guidance and a comprehensive evaluation at the end of camp.

Hands-On Instruction: Trained camp counselors will provide one-on-one coaching, helping each athlete improve their hitting, fielding, pitching, and overall game awareness.

Rain Policy: Camps are rain or shine. Arthur Goodman Park has a state-of-the-art weather detection system. Campers will be moved to a safe location if the alarm sounds during the camp.

MARA Refund Policy:
