
HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR CAMP OFFERINGS FOR PLAYERS AGES 6-12
Led by D-BAT Indian Trail @ Arthur Goodman Park
- Relevant instruction to each camper’s ability in a fun yet instructional environment
- Skill levels will be assessed on day 1 to establish appropriate group level instruction
- Trained camp staff will provide high level of individual instruction
- Lunch and a drink included in the registration fee for all campers!All camp sessions are 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at MARA, 1200 S. Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105.
Level 1 Camp, ages 6 – 8
- Hitting, throwing and fielding
- Skills competitions
- Fun events and a variety of outdoor games
- Players will be grouped based upon their skill level on Day 1
Level 2 Camp, ages 9 – 12
- Infield, outfield, base running and conditioning
- Pitching clinic
- Skills competitions
- Daily baseball games to provide immediate feedback on your player’s growth
- Players will be grouped based upon their skill level on Day 1
Lunch Provided Daily:
Every camper will receive lunch and a drink included with his/her registration fee. If your camper does not like the lunch option for that day or has a food allergy we ask that you pack an alternative lunch. Please write campers name on the lunch bag so it can be properly stored in a cooler. Credit will not be given for unused lunches. Our concessions facility cannot handle special dietary requests.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Cancellations made two weeks prior to the start date of each camp session will be refunded $75/Level 1 Camp and $125/Level 2 Camp of the registration fee. After this deadline, no refunds will be given. Only exception is illness or injury supported by doctor’s note will be refunded the full amount minus $25 processing fee.
Rain Policy:
If heavy rain is encountered prior to the start of camp, the day may be cancelled. We will do our best to provide as much notice as possible. Each camper will receive a voucher good for a make-up camp session at D-BAT Indian Trail’s indoor facility to be used on another day (registration is required). Once camp has started we will continue rain or shine. Arthur Goodman Park has a state of the art weather detection system. If the alarm sounds during the camp, campers will be moved to a safe location.
FAQ’s
What to Bring: A glove and bat is all you need, but feel free to bring any equipment you’d like (label all items!)
Snacks/Drinks: Pack daily snacks. Water will be provided, but bring a water bottle for refills
Sunscreen: Make sure your camper puts this on before camp and brings extra to reapply
Clothing: Cool & comfortable, cleats are allowed and don’t forget a hat!
Breaks: Water breaks will be taken throughout the day, as well as 30-45 minutes for lunch.
Communication: Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey will be passed on to you via the email address you supply at registration so include all necessary family emails. This will eliminate any confusion and/or miscommunication.
