MARA CLUB BASEBALL 

WHO:    
Open to the public and based on assessment. Registration and payment are
mandatory.
Coaches who are interested in coaching, learning and sharpening their skills are also
welcome to join.

WHAT:
Club Baseball is a membership model at MARA for players 12 and up who
may have the following needs and interests:
1. Acclimation to a full-sized field; 12-year-olds moving up from MAJORS or in
MAJORS who may want reps and time on the field.
2. Players who do not want the travel experience, who may or may not play rec
baseball, but want team environment-intensive training.
In addition to advanced training, Club players will form ‘loose’ teams and participate in
one-day tournaments at MARA. *Some players may be asked to fill-in for travel teams.

WHEN:
Club baseball runs throughout the Spring/Summer and Fall seasons and runs
concurrently with rec baseball and travel baseball. Club practices are determined by
the Club and Travel coaches.
Evaluations for Club begin during the Recreational Spring season assessments (mid-to-
late February) and are ongoing until August 31 st , after which no new Club players will be
added until the next calendar year.

WHERE:
All practices will be at MARA, Field 2. There may be indoor practices at D-
Bat.

HOW:
Evaluations are necessary for Club baseball, however some players who did
not make a travel team will be recommended to play Club or Rec baseball.  Please contact Club Commissioner Pablo Ocasio at [email protected] 

FEES:
$150 - $200 : Cap and Personalized Practice Jersey w/ Last Name and Number.
