Girls ONLY Flag Football Registration

2026 Girls ONLY WINTER Flag Football

Refund Policy: Matthews Athletic and Recreation Association (MARA) incurs various league, medical, security, uniform, insurance, and administrative fees which are not refundable to the organization. Therefore, if you withdraw your player fifteen (15) days or more before the stated registration period closes for a sport, we will provide a refund of the total registration fee, LESS A $50 Admin Fee. Otherwise, we do not provide any refunds for a player withdrawing from the program

MARA Colts Girls ONLY Flag Football

Practice Begins*: 1/18/2026

Games Start: 1/25/2026

Games End: 3/01/2026

Game Day: Sunday

Practices: On Sundays before the games (during the season)

Who Can Play: Girls (Ages 7-14)

Where: MARA -1200 S Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105

Cost: $175 per child

**Age divisions are based on the date of 1/15/2025 (i.e., what age will the child be on 1/15/2025) with divisions adjusted, as needed, to balance the number of players per team and division.

Flag Football Registration

2026 Spring Flag Football (Coed)

MARA Colts Fall Flag Football

Season Start: 3/14/2026

Games End: 5/17/2026

Game Day: Saturdays

Practices: On Saturday before the games (during the season)

Who Can Play: Boys and Girls (Ages 6-14)

Where: MARA -1200 S Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105

Cost: $225 per child

Equipment: A deposit check in the amount of $175 will be required for a MARA issued football helmet. The deposit check (uncashed) will be returned at the end of the season when the football helmet is returned to MARA.
