Why a tryout? Is 7v7 competitive?
7v7 is competitive and designed for motivated, skilled players who want to develop through top coaching. Tryouts help us select the best athletes for each team.
What should I bring?
Wear cleats and weather-appropriate gear. Bring a labeled water bottle and a mask for use during breaks.
When is my tryout?
Tryouts are in December for winter and February for spring. Email [email protected] for your time.
Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to check in and warm up.
Do I have to attend all tryouts?
No, but you must attend at least one to be considered.
What do you look for in tryouts?
We evaluate technical skill, football IQ, and physical ability.
What if I’m sick or injured?
Contact the coach or team manager. They’ll help you determine next steps.
Can parents attend tryouts?
Yes, but must stay behind designated areas. Please do not interrupt coaches.
What if it rains?
Tryouts will continue in rain unless lightning or unsafe conditions occur. Updates will be posted online or sent via email.
When will I hear back?
We contact selected players via phone or email usually within five (5) days after tryouts. Player Invitation responses are expected within 48 hours.
When do I commit and what’s next?
Commitments are due within 48 hours of your offer. You’ll receive registration details and payment instructions from your team rep.
When and where are practices?
Practice schedules are set by the coach. Most teams practice 1–2 times per week for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Any extra costs?
Uniform and league fees are included. Optional tournaments may have additional costs if the team chooses to enter.
What if I don’t make a team?
We offer clinics to help players improve. Contact coaches at [email protected] for feedback.
Can I attend on a different day?
No. Players must try out with their grade-level team (e.g., 8th graders must attend the 8th grade tryout).
When are games?
Tournaments and games are usually held on Saturdays or Sundays or both (depending on the tournament entered). Younger teams typically play earlier in the day.
