MARA Members,

Hope all of you are doing well. It has been brought to our attention that several of our baseball teams are practicing in the Matthews area. Per notice given on March 12, 2020 all activities, practices and games have been suspended for all MARA teams. There are no exceptions. It is fine if you want to take your son or daughter out to practice but there should be no teams practicing. Any teams found to be in violation will be brought in front of the MARA Bat and Ball Disciplinary Committee.

We have been contacted by the Matthews Softball league and asked that our MARA Members not use the field at Matthews Elementary. They have a partnership with CMS and field use is suspended. They are at risk of loosing their partnership.

Please help us keep our MARA community safe. I know this is a tough time and hard for our kids but limiting exposure to others is the recommended way to limit community spread of the Covid-19 virus.
